SONGS FOR LITTLE FOLKS

From the tender age of 3 and 4, these little girls could be found on the front row of some small church pew, playing with a Barbie Doll, waiting for their time to sing.  Their first recording is featured here and was recorded during that time.

To pass the time while driving down the road, Levoy would teach the girls to memorize entire chapters of the Bible as part of their "home school" curriculum.  They decided to include these "recitations" on the little albums along with a Bible story, as if the listener was eavesdropping at bedtime.

We hope you enjoy watching these little girls grow up and hear how their voices grew and became stronger.  Their last duet, Sisters Friends, was recorded in 1980. The girls were teenagers by then.  The best musicians in Nashville were hired for this project.  The guitar player, Dann Huff, went on to produce major artist such as Carrie Underwood.

Thanks for following along... as the story continues!
